Investment: The four seasons of economy

The economic cycle is like spring, summer, fall and winter. When we work, we need to work according to the season instead of what we fell like doing be it tending, harvesting or waiting with patient.

In summer we invest, in fall we harvest and in winter we wait.

You could stay ahead in the market in all seasons, with a portfolio like Ray Dalio's all season allocation. The idea is to divide your portfolio risk into 25% and allocate into the below four segment of the market.

Is the market rising with inflation? Buy some gold or oils. Falling with inflation? Trade treasury bonds instead.

I haven't seen much rain this April, similarly my grains in the market are getting a bit dry:

Dividend RM160 | Trade gains RM240
